Dr. Hanan Ashrawi

In early January, 2000, Trekker Kevin Maes had the opportunity to interview Dr. Hanan Ashrawi in her office at MIFTAH-the Palestinian Initiative for the Promotion of Global Dialogue and Democracy. Dr. Ashrawi is the founder and secretary general of MIFTAH. Prior to that she was a spokesperson for the Middle East Peace talks and has been one of the leading figures in the Palestinian movement.
