Matan and Jawad: no color lines
Caption
The Blue team and the Green team are having a competition, where everyone is a winner because the teams are playing for peace. Afterall, peace is one of the most fun and important things to play for in the whole world. It makes everyone happy.

A quiet moment during the storm
Caption
A very nice girl named Slava says that the two teams play all the time, even during intermission, "just because we're having such a good time." Slava and eighty other people are in a place called Kibbutz Yahel in Jerusalem for a special event called the Seeds of Peace Annual Winter Seminar. It is a four-day event when everybody gets to make new friends, especially people that they never thought they would ever be friends with.

Liat shows team spirit!
Caption
Early in the morning, counselors yell to wake everyone up for a tug-o'-war. Everybody chants team songs and gets ready for a day of fun playing outside. I learned some chants from the wake-up call that were very fun to say and the louder you say them, the better.

Efrat says "pickled pepper"
Caption
Liat and Nadav, two other nice people I met, play for their teams during a competition in which both teams have to use a computer and send e-mails. Volunteers try to say tongue-twisters which everybody knows is a very difficult thing to do. You try saying "Peter Piper picked a packet of pickled peppers" five times in just a few minutes. Yes, it's hard to do, but everybody has fun doing it.

Green Team art project
Caption
The two teams eventually get the chance to make a video, act out a funny comedy skit, write a song, make an art project and sing songs. At the end of the competitions, both the Blue and the Green teams cheer for each other because, remember, nobody loses when you're playing for peace and happiness. After the competition, the two teams have a big party and dance, dance, dance.

Steal the (kosher, halal) bacon!

Remember to always include everybody when you play games. It's much more fun that way.
