 The answers? A and C! Cortes burnt his ships on purpose so his men could never run away. They would have to keep fighting until they conquered the Aztecs or were killed themselves. And while they didn’t really throw their armor away, they didn’t use it much. They discovered quickly that the cotton armor used by the Mayas and Aztecs was very effective, weighed much less, and was cooler in the hot weather! |

The Answer: The two that don’t belong are D and F. As mentioned in the answer to the last question, the Spaniards hardly used their metal armor. And the Spaniards in Cuba didn’t trust Cortes and tried to take over his troops. |
