Mr. Gilliss is a partner and co-founder at the law firm of Gilliss & Valla. Previously, he was a partner at Hancock, Rothert and Bunshoft and an associate with Arent, Fox , Kintner, Plotkin and Kahn. He is a past president and director of San Francisco School Volunteers and a past director and vice president of the National Society to Prevent Blindness. Mr. Gilliss currently holds director positions at the Pacific Bay Bank, Prevent Blindness-Northern California, and The Fund for Arthritis and Infectious Disease Research.
