Many of the musicians live in legend, and Ruy is one of them. With a long cultural and political background, he is now the Minister of Culture of Angola. He has been an Angolan star since the late 1950's and continues to record and surprise audiences all over the world.
With the popularity of Portuguese-African musicians like Cesaria Evora, Bonga and the Mendes Brothers, perhaps we are in for a change. You are in for a treat.
